"Body Language of Trees" March 21, 2017 @ Rotary Place Caledon Seniors Centre | Caledon | Ontario | Canada

TOPIC:  The Body Language of Trees

SPEAKER: Owen Goltz  is an ISA certified arborist, highly involved and respected in the arboriculture community. He has served as an instructor of Arboriculture at Humber College and has been a guest speaker at numerous colleges and universities across Canada and the United States.

Owen is a second-career farmer. His home, Riverdale, is an 80-acre farm in the heart of the village of Inglewood, Ontario.  It is his intent to embrace a lifestyle of simplicity. This includes growing food and having enough to share with the local community at the weekly market. It also means providing learning and awareness opportunities through summer student employment, documentary and film nights, art classes and seminars. He aims to use the horse power of 2 Haflinger draft ponies more and more, and focus on using renewal resources wherever possible.
