TOPIC:   The majestic Delphinium and its family of related plants are the topic for this month’s Speaker Series. Learn about the history, breeding, and different types and forms of delphiniums and tips on how to grow, divide and care for the plants. 

SPEAKER:  Diana Pooke is a Mississauga Master Gardener, editor of the Ontario Rock Garden & Hardy Plant Society’s Journal, Past Co-president of the Georgetown Horticultural Society and a founding Delphimium2member of the Lucy Maud Montgomery Heritage Garden in Norval. Diana is also an Royal Botanical Gardens certified horticultural judge. Diana and her husband Bill garden on ¾ acre property near Georgetown. She has a passion for perennials, including grasses, and grows many of her plants from seed.
