TOPIC: Preserving your Harvest Now that the summer harvest is in full swing join us for our August 21st General Meeting and learn about some of the methods that will enable you to enjoy your bounty throughout the growing season and into the winter months. In addition to the tried-and-true canning methods, we will also be discussing other techniques such as dehydration, vacuum sealing, freezing and steam juicing. During the presentation there will be lots of opportunity for open discussion so that you can ask questions and troubleshoot any difficulties that you’ve had in the past when preserving your harvest.
